Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American actor, voice actress Director Producer and vocalist. She is an attractive, skilled actress that has inspired many Asian actors to succeed in Hollywood. After appearing in a number of episodes on popular television series and movies, she gained fame when she was a part of her role in the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she played Ling Woo. She translated her newfound fame into roles that were filmed on the large screen with Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels as well as other films. In Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an impressive performance as Japanese crime boss O-Ren Ishii. In the same period she appeared in major parts in other failed box office films including Rise: Blood Hunter.
