Lucy Liu is an American actor, voice actress, director producer and singer. She is a beautiful and knowledgeable actress, she's an inspirational model for many Asian actors who aspire to be successful in Hollywood. After appearing in a number of episodes in popular TV shows, she became famous when she was cast in The Ally McBeal legal comedy where she was Ling Woo. The fame gained by her was translated into roles for the big screen for Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels as well as other films. In the following film, she delivered an outstanding performance in the role of Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii as Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. About the same time she also played key parts in other failed box office films like Rise: Blood Hunter. She then started voicing prominent characters in animated films such for Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's part in Cashmere Mafia, a small screen production, didn't yield satisfactory results.
