Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is a British music producer and vocalist. Harry Styles was one of the founding members of One Direction. Harry Styles was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1 1994. He's the son of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, and with his three classmates, formed a musical group called White Eskimo. They were the winners of the Battle of Bands in 2009, thanks to their outstanding performance. The musician was always fascinated by the arts, however he also wished to become an attorney, physiotherapist or even a scout. For a while he worked as a part-time baker within his town with the aim of helping economically at home. The year was 2010. Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he performed the song Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. Because of this, his band needed to be disbanded. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury participant of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles to join the band One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. The creation of the group took place in the year 2010. The five young people were sponsored by Simon Cowell. The group performed hits such as My Life Would Suffer Without You from Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. The group was one of the contenders for the prize. The group was however placed third behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. However, Harry Styles and his group didn't win, Cowell agreed to pay 2 million pounds to One Direction to sign with the Syco record label.
