Anna Paquin is a Canadian as well as a New Zealand actress. Paquin was born in Winnipeg, raised in Wellington and first made her acting debut in the role of Flora McGrath when she played her role in The Piano. She won an Academy Award at the age of 11 for Best supporting Actress. Anna Paquin's full name is Anna Helene Paquin. Born on July 24, 1982, at Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, she was an Canadian native New Zealand actress. As as a young girl, she was awarded her the Academy Award for best support actress. Her performance as the talkative and inquisitive girl of Holly Hunter played in The Piano (1993) brought her the prize.
