Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette was an American voice actress, actor, and film actor. She lived from January 31st, 1937, until January 19th 2008. Pleshette began her career in theatre. She was in films during the 1950s in the latter half of the decade. Then, she became a prominent actor in movies such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). She later appeared in various television shows, usually in guest roles, and played Emily Hartley on The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 until 1978, earning several Emmy Award nominations for her work. Pleshette is the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1 and Eugene Pleshette, was born on the 31st of January 1937 in Brooklyn Heights. The parents of her were Jewish who were descendants of immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary.Her mother was a dancer and artist who performed under the stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was stage manager at the Paramount Theater, Manhattan, and the Paramount Theater, Brooklyn.
