Amal Clooney
Amal Alamuddin Clooney was conceived in Beirut, Lebanon. The Arabic word meaning "hope" is'ml. She was only two when her family moved into Buckinghamshire from Lebanon during the Lebanese Civil War. Ramzi Alamuddin is a Lebanese Druze who comes from Baakline an area in the Chouf District of the Alam al-Din dynasty. He completed an MBA from Beirut's American University of Beirut. In 1991, he returned Lebanon in 1991[12][13] following his country's civil conflict. Her mother, Baria (nee Miknass), was born to a family of Sunni Muslims in Tripoli in Northern Lebanon,[14][11] and a Palestinian-Jordanian[15] mother. She worked as a foreign reporter and editor for the Saudi-owned al-Hayat journal. She was the founder of International Communication Experts. The business, which is part of a bigger business, is specialized in booking famous guests and publicity photos, as well as promotions for events, etc. Amal was born in Philippines. She is the mother of two siblings and one brother. Amal attended Dr Challoner's school in Little Chalfont Buckinghamshire before going to the university. After graduating at St Hugh's College in Oxford with an Exhibition Grant, as well as the Shrigley Award, she studied at St Hugh's College. Her graduation was with a bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in the field of jurisprudence in. In the following year she was accepted into the New York University School of Law to complete the Master of Laws (LL.M) degree. She was awarded the Jack J. Katz Memorial Award to recognize her excellence in entertainment laws.
